The Board of Management would be delighted if you would like to have your marriage ceremony or special event in the Gardens. There are just a few things to note:

▪  Please contact us to book a day and time – waipahihibotanical@gmail.com or use the form below.

▪  The Board asks for a donation of $100 – this will be spent on plants for the Gardens. We will email you the account number for online payment.

▪  You need to supply any furniture you need. You are welcome to set up earlier in the day for your occasion. It might be a good idea to leave someone there to keep an eye on things.

▪  Because there is limited parking in the Gardens we ask that groups are no larger than 50. The Board asks that you and your guests park sensibly – in consideration of plants/trees and other visitors to the Gardens.

▪  If there are likely to be more than about six cars, by arrangement, parking can be made available in the volunteers’ compound.

▪  As far as ceremonial occasions are concerned, you and your guests may stay a while after the formalities for photographs etc, but the Board would not like to see the function turn into a reception/party.

▪  Please, no confetti of any kind, including rice and petals.

▪  We wish you best wishes on the day and hope the sun shines. In case it doesn’t, it would be a good idea to have a back-up plan. Although the volunteers have a meeting house, it is not suitable for functions, and therefore not available to the public.
